Here is a great video highlighting this years benefit show in Tokyo.
The Boise Art Museum was kind enough to invite several artists, including myself, to create shoe art live in the museum for Community Shoe Day. I chose to do some sharpie and pen work on these Converse Chuck Taylors. It was fun to work alongside great artists like Kelly Knopp, Matt Bodett, and Yohei Miyazawa.
I'm excited to be participating in another PangeaSeed art show this year titled Sink or Swim. It is a show designed to raise awareness and education about Shark finning and the damage it is bringing to our oceans worldwide. I created the piece below title Voice of Warning for this years event. As you can probably tell, it is a bit of a companion piece to Riding Bicycles Is Fun. It is an honor to be among great participating artists once again like Dave Kinsey, Rhys Cooper, Jim Phillips and many, many more. In addition to the usual exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, I'm excited to see that the show will be making it's American debut this September in San Francisco. There is much more at PageaSeed's website and in the flyer below. Remember... no fin, no future!

Below is a piece I recently created for a fundraising event for the Boise Bicycle Project. All invited artists were given instructions to create a poster under the simple theme of "bikes". There were plenty of stellar results. Thanks to the amazing support of those in attendance, my poster sold out. The BBP and the Wilson family greatly appreciate it. I believe there are more great posters available on the Poster Party facebook page.
